As a Transformation Architect in SAP Strategic Business Solutions (SBS), you will be part of a team responsible for solutioning large or strategic business transformation bids, proposals and advisory services, underpinned by ERP, that require cross-Capgemini capability. 

You will support one or lead more bid teams to ensure that our responses are compelling and address our client’s business problem. You will be responsible for ensuring that the technical solution created by our solution architects fits the business transformation narrative. You will solution the business transformation components, which could include any area from business case development, operating model design, value enablement, business engagement, change management, deployment and sustainment and ensure they are appropriately covered in the response.

You will continuously improve method and tools that underpin both solutioning and delivery and have responsibility for closing gaps in current approaches.

You will fluently move to delivery when programmes have been won and work starts.

Strategic Business Solutions (SBS) sits within Applications and has been highly successful in winning work in multiple major accounts.

Hybrid working: The places that you work day to day will vary according to your role, your needs and that of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client site and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home for 100% of the time.

Your role

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the business transformation agenda for large and strategic bids and design solutions to move clients through their maturity model.
• Partner closely with solutions teams from across and outside Capgemini to ensure a cohesive and high-quality bid response is generated.
• Ensure the business transformation and business change components of the bid are represented with a compelling solution.
• Continually improve the method and tooling around business transformation, client engagement and the management of change across all phases of client delivery.
• Present our approach to clients in a compelling and meaningful way.
• Work on business cases, Phase 0, design, and delivery phases of engagements directly with our clients
• Perform programme reviews where needed to identify areas for improvement or delivery opportunities.

Your skills and experience:

You will:

• Possess a strong understanding of your client’s value chain and ideally have experience in multiple industries.
• Have a high-level understanding of how ERP, and other technologies, can be deployed to drive top and bottom-line performance.
• Have experience in some or most of the following: business case development, value realisation, deployment management, target operating model design, organisational design, shared service establishment and outsourcing
• Have a detailed and demonstrable experience of leading business change management, especially in ERP including change impact assessment and mitigation, business readiness, communications and training.
• Have experience in designing method and tooling and using technology to improve delivery excellence and cost to deliver.
• Produce high quality client-facing written materials and be a confident and engaging presenter.
• Demonstrate excellent client facing skills, empathising with and understanding their perspective.  You will be equally comfortable working on bid teams as delivering the solution in partnership with our clients.
• Have experience collaborating with distributed teams across all phases of presales and delivery in major global organisations and will have experience working in a large consultancy.
• Demonstrate commitment, flexibility, thought leadership and a drive and interest to expand your knowledge in new technologies and industry focus, through training and research to develop your career within the SBS team and the wider Capgemini Group.
• Be comfortable with managing complexity and ambiguity and giving clear advice and leadership to internal and external teams.
• Have a passion for working with our clients, advising them on how to get the most out of their investment in technology.
• You will be comfortable and productive working under the time pressure inherent in bid responses.
• Be a passionate and engaged team player who takes pride in personal delivery and works to ensure we delivery excellence as a team.
