About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking an experienced Teradata Migration Solution Architect to lead large-scale migration and modernization initiatives from Teradata data warehouse platforms to AWS-based cloud ecosystems. In this role, you will define target-state architectures, develop migration strategies, and establish governance frameworks to support enterprise data transformation programs

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define Teradata migration strategy target data architecture and modernization roadmap
• Assess Teradata workloads schemas ETL processes stored procedures and dependencies
• Design migration solutions to AWS services such as Redshift S3 Glue EMR Aurora and Lakehouse platforms
• Lead migration planning wave management cutover rollback and data validation activities
• Architect data integration CDC replication and near zero downtime migration approaches
• Establish data governance security lineage encryption and regulatory compliance controls
• Drive automation through Terraform CICD DataOps and DevSecOps practices
• Produce architecture artifacts HLDLLD and present solutions to governance and architecture boards
• Partner with business engineering security and program teams to ensure successful migration delivery

Required Skills Experience

• 12 years in Data Architecture Data Engineering with 8 years of Teradata and cloud migration experience
• Strong expertise in Teradata Vantage BTEQ TPT Fast Load Multiload
• AWS Redshift S3 Glue EMR Aurora DMS
• Data Warehousing Data Lakes Lakehouse Architectures
• ETLELT Modernization and SQL Migration
• Terraform GitHub GitLab CICD DevSecOps
• Experience delivering largescale Teradata migration programs involving Mult terabyte or petabyte scale datasets
• Strong understanding of banking domains including Payments Cards Risk KYCAML and Regulatory Reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management leadership and communication skills
