Your role:
The criminal justice system is undergoing significant transformation as organisations respond to increasing demand, workforce pressures, changing user expectations and the opportunities presented by digital, data and AI
At Capgemini Invent, we work with organisations across criminal justice and the wider public sector to shape and deliver complex transformation. Our work spans strategy and operating model, service transformation, digital and data, technology-enabled change, organisational transformation and the development of new capabilities and services.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager with a strong consulting background and previous experience supporting organisations across the criminal justice sector. You will bring a strong understanding of the environment in which justice organisations operate, ideally gained through consulting engagements supporting their transformation, digital, data or technology agendas.
This is more than a programme delivery role. You will take on significant account leadership and business development responsibility for strategic criminal justice clients, working with senior stakeholders to understand their priorities, identify where Capgemini can add value, and drive, own and shape business development and growth strategies.
Alongside this client leadership role, you will contribute more broadly to the growth of our Policing and Justice business, connecting relevant capabilities, propositions, experience and people from across Capgemini to client priorities.
This position will give you the opportunity to:
- Lead and shape strategy for strategic criminal justice departments and executive agencies, developing a clear understanding of client priorities, challenges and transformation agendas.
- Own and drive business development, identifying, shaping and progressing opportunities from early client engagement through to proposition development, pursuit and mobilisation.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across policy, operations, transformation, digital, data and technology.
- Bring a consulting perspective to complex challenges across the criminal justice system, helping clients improve services, operational outcomes and productivity.
- Connect Capgemini’s capabilities across strategy, transformation, data, AI, digital, cloud and technology to tangible client challenges and outcomes.
- Shape compelling propositions, proposals and bids, bringing together multidisciplinary teams from across Capgemini.
- Support the delivery of strategically important programmes, providing senior oversight and ensuring successful delivery strengthens long-term client relationships.
- Contribute to the wider development and growth of our Policing and Justice business, including propositions, campaigns, market development and strategic pursuits.
- Develop our people and strengthen the sector knowledge and consulting capability of the wider team.
Your profile:
We are looking for an established consulting leader who combines relevant criminal justice sector experience with strong commercial judgement and the ability to develop trusted senior client relationships.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Significant consulting experience, ideally within a major consultancy or professional services organisation, with a track record of shaping and delivering complex transformation.
- Previous experience supporting criminal justice organisations, particularly across transformation, operating model, digital, data or technology agendas.
- A strong understanding of the criminal justice landscape and the operational and transformation challenges facing justice organisations, with the ability to translate these into credible opportunities.
- Demonstrable account growth and business development experience, including developing account strategy, originating opportunities, shaping propositions and leading complex pursuits.
- A track record of developing trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and using those relationships to understand priorities and shape relevant responses.
- Experience bringing together multidisciplinary consulting and technology capabilities to solve complex client problems.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance client outcomes, delivery credibility and sustainable account growth.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at senior levels.
- A collaborative, self-starting approach and willingness to work across organisational boundaries to bring the best capabilities to the client.
- Current UK Security Check (SC) clearance, reflecting the nature of the client environments and assignments this role will support.
- Flexibility to travel to client locations as required.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Manager within our Criminal Justice business, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and owning business development and growth strategies for strategic criminal justice clients.
- Building a detailed understanding of clients’ strategic priorities, operational challenges, transformation agendas and emerging needs and translating these into focused account priorities.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and positioning Capgemini as a credible, trusted transformation partner.
- Identifying and shaping opportunities across strategy, operating model, service transformation, digital, data, AI, technology and organisational transformation.
- Bringing together the right capabilities from across Capgemini to respond to client priorities and complex, cross-cutting challenges.
- Leading major proposals and pursuits, ensuring our responses demonstrate a strong understanding of the client, differentiated thinking and credible routes to delivery.
- Providing senior leadership and oversight to strategically important engagements, maintaining a strong connection between successful delivery, client outcomes and future account development.
- Working alongside colleagues across the wider Policing and Justice business to develop reusable propositions, credentials and market perspectives.
- Contributing to the development of our people, helping colleagues deepen their understanding of criminal justice clients, the sector and its transformation priorities.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of developments across criminal justice, public service transformation, digital, data and emerging technology, and applying those insights to client conversations and account strategy.
