Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Deliver robust, scalable applications aligned to business and customer outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Drive engineering excellence through clean coding, peer reviews, and continuous improvement
- Ensure applications are secure, high-performing, and resilient by design
- Contribute to architecture decisions that enable long-term scalability and adaptability
- Actively participate in agile delivery to achieve timely, high-quality releases
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Demonstrate awareness of emerging trends, including AI-enabled development, to enhance delivery outcomes
- Take ownership of deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving risks and challenges
Your Skills:
- Strong expertise in backend application development using Java
- Proven experience delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture principles
- Experience designing and integrating APIs
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on business value
- Experience working in agile, collaborative environments
- Understanding of performance, security, and quality engineering practices
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) concepts or applications in software development
