YOUR ROLE

The Sustainable Futures team is at the forefront of innovative strategy and technology and it is our role to shape the way Capgemini Invent creates long term, sustainable value for clients, providing them with fresh perspectives and digital solutions so that they can play a transformative role in addressing planetary, people and systems challenges.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Responsibility for developing sustainability propositions, so they are contextually relevant for the UK market and in line with UK legislation and reporting requirements
• Accountable for winning consulting projects, providing delivery leadership, and aiding in the growth of the sustainability agenda for our key clients
• Line management of colleagues in the Sustainable Futures team
• Supporting the continued growth of the capability

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

• Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
• Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development, offering development.
• Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

Ideally you shall have/are :

• Strong expertise in sustainable operations, sustainable IT and net zero strategies
• Innovative and not afraid to fail, you have a track record of selling and delivering sustainability work with clients
• A team player, collaborative, cooperative and a system thinker
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
• Experience of proposition building and delivery
• Currently working in sustainability, and have experience of working in Consulting

A track record in business development, utilising a combination of an organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, to generate revenues of c.3m

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.

We offer a remuneration package which includes flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances and a variable element dependent grade and on company and personal performance.
