This is a senior sales role within Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) at Capgemini, focused on driving new business growth across the UK Insurance market.You will be responsible for originating, shaping and closing significant cloud infrastructure services engagements with insurance clients. The role is suited to an experienced enterprise seller with a proven hunter profile, someone comfortable creating opportunities, leading complex sales cycles and delivering meaningful revenue.While you’ll work closely with senior colleagues across delivery, technology and industry, accountability for sales outcomes sits squarely with you.The role offers autonomy, senior‑level exposure and the opportunity to play a visible part in Capgemini’s continued growth within the Insurance sector.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

Ownership and delivery of annual sales target, including pipeline creation, forecasting and deal closure
Active origination of new opportunities across named insurance accounts and new prospects
Building and sustaining a strong, credible pipeline aligned to revenue targets
Leading complex sales cycles from early qualification through to commercial negotiation and contract close
Engaging senior client stakeholders, including C‑suite and executive technology leaders
Shaping deals by understanding client priorities, risks and investment drivers
Owning opportunity strategy, deal structure and commercial positioning
Working closely with delivery, solution, legal and commercial teams to ensure proposals are viable and competitive
Driving opportunities through internal governance efficiently and professionally
Contributing to account and sector growth planning, helping to unlock larger and longer‑term engagements
This role requires confidence, pace and the ability to maintain momentum in complex enterprise sales environments. 

 

Your skills and experience

Proven track record in new business and growth‑focused sales roles within the UK Insurance market
Experience originating and closing large, complex enterprise deals, rather than relying on existing run‑rate revenue
Strong background in selling Cloud Infrastructure Services or closely related enterprise technology services
Demonstrated success engaging senior decision‑makers and influencing buying outcomes
Good understanding of insurance client structures, buying cycles and competitive dynamics
Strong commercial capability, including deal structuring, pricing and contract negotiation
Comfortable working in a matrix organisation while retaining ownership and accountability
A direct, disciplined sales approach with clear focus on outcomes

Your security clearance
