We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic Basel IV regulatory initiatives across a global banking organization The role requires extensive experience operating within large scale regulatory change programs and collaborating with cross functional teams in Risk Reg Capital Treasury Finance Architecture and Technology to deliver strategic solutions that are robust auditable and regulator ready.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
- Analyse and interpret Basel IV regulations for PRA, EBA, CRR3, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Translate regulatory requirements into business and functional requirements.
- Perform impact assessments across Risk, Finance, Capital Management, Regulatory Reporting, Data, and Technology functions.
- Define current-state and target-state business processes related to capital calculation and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing Basel III frameworks and Basel IV requirements.
- Assess impacts on Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), Leverage Ratio, and Output Floor calculations.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are accurately implemented.
- Evaluate impacts on processes, data models, systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with subject matter experts to validate regulatory interpretations and business requirements.
Your Skills
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders, Risk Managers, Finance teams, Model Developers, and Technology teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
- Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, non-functional, data, and regulatory requirements.
- Produce and maintain key business analysis artifacts, including BRDs, FSDs, User Stories, Data Lineage, Process Lineage, and Requirements Traceability documents.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Analyze source-to-target data flows supporting Basel IV calculations and regulatory reporting processes.
- Perform data mapping, data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of data lineage, data governance, and data quality controls.
- Participate in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies across the project lifecycle.
- Manage requirements traceability from initiation through implementation and post-production support.
- Support SIT, UAT, parallel run, and production readiness activities to ensure successful solution deployment.
