Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support delivery initiatives on the GLOW platform within an agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in MGA / Delegated Underwriting (DUA) processes, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, deliverable solutions.
This role requires close collaboration with both business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment from requirements through to delivery, testing, and go-live.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Agile delivery environments
Strong knowledge of MGA / Delegated Underwriting processes, including:
- Partner onboarding & management
- Bordereaux management
- Data ingestion & processing
Proven ability to:
- Analyze business demands
- Translate requirements into system solutions
Experience in system development / transformation initiatives
Familiarity with:
- Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Azure DevOps (preferred)
Hands-on experience with:
- User stories & acceptance criteria
- Use cases & UML diagrams
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to independently lead workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Excellent organizational and backlog management skills
- Strong attention to detail
Your Job
Requirements Analysis & Definition
- Elicit, analyze, and define business requirements for the GLOW platform
- Translate business needs into structured Azure DevOps backlog items
- Ensure requirements are clearly aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility
Documentation & Artefact Creation
Produce high-quality documentation including:
- Feature specifications (GLOW platform)
- User stories with acceptance criteria
- Non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- UML diagrams & use case models
Stakeholder Engagement & Workshops
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technical teams
- Lead discussions independently and drive outcomes
- Consolidate findings and present clear, actionable insights
Delivery & Testing Support
- Support go-live activities for the GLOW platform
- Collaborate with QA teams and support:
- Test planning
- System testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
- Ensure alignment between:
- Business requirements
- Technical implementation
Backlog & Agile Delivery Support
- Manage and prioritize complex backlogs within Azure DevOps
- Ensure readiness of user stories for sprint delivery
- Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements
Governance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to best practices and strong conduct standards
- Support delivery of solutions that result in positive customer and policyholder outcomes
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all documentation and delivery artifacts
