About the Job you are considering:
Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce developer, In this role, you will leverage your Salesforce development expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that support business objectives across our Salesforce ecosystem. Working closely with product managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality platform enhancements and ensuring the ongoing health and performance of Salesforce.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic tools.
- Build custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot complex Salesforce platform issues.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Support system integration testing and ensure successful integration between Salesforce and connected systems.
- Follow CI/CD processes and release management practices to deploy changes to testing and production environments.
- Maintain platform security, data integrity, and overall system health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, Scrum Masters, and Quality Engineers.
- Adhere to Salesforce development standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform capabilities, recommending new features, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Provide clear communication and regular updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Your Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong experience developing with Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and SOQL.
- Proven experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Knowledge of Apex trigger frameworks and Salesforce development best practices.
- Experience with code deployment processes, release management, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Understanding of web services, APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex Salesforce environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Salesforce certifications are highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and data management best practices.
