YOUR ROLE

The role involves defining reliability standards to ensure high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance; setting Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Indicators (SLIs) for API latency, uptime, and error rates; designing observability frameworks with logging, metrics, and distributed tracing; planning strategies for resilience and scalability such as circuit breakers, retries, and load balancing; and automating reliability practices through CI/CD pipelines, chaos testing, and failover mechanisms.

YOUR PROFILE

• Design implement and maintain reliable and scalable systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability best practices into the software lifecycle
• Implement and maintain observability solutions for proactive monitoring and alerting
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Handson experience in creating dashboards alarms and metrics for AWS resources
• Strong scripting skills Python PowerShell Bash for automation
• Experience with CICD pipelines and configuration management tools Chef Ansible
• Solid understanding of Linux Unix systems and networking fundamentals
• Splunk for log management dashboard creation and data analysis
• Knowledge of containerization Docker Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code Terraform CloudFormation
• Database experience MS SQL PostgreSQL and performance tuning
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years of experience in SRE DevOps or related roles
