About the job you're considering
Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant to join our Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting a highly secure and business-critical SAP environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a complex enterprise landscape, ensuring seamless data exchange between SAP and third-party systems that underpin key operational services.
As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you'll be working within a team responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimising mission-critical applications. Our ADM teams play a vital role in delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing SAP services while driving continuous improvement and service excellence for our clients.
Your Role
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP interface and integration failures
- Managing SAP PI/PO integration scenarios, mappings, and message flows
- Supporting API-based integrations and middleware platforms across the wider technology landscape
- Performing detailed root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex integration issues
- Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across interconnected systems
- Supporting incident, problem, and change management activities in line with established service management processes
- Working closely with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to maintain service stability and performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve integration reliability, monitoring, and automation
Your skills and experience
- Strong experience with SAP PI/PO and/or SAP Integration Suite
- Knowledge of API-led integrations and middleware technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise application integrations within complex SAP environments
- Ability to diagnose and resolve interface failures quickly and effectively
- Understanding of message monitoring, mappings, data transformation, and integration best practices
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
