Job Title: Project Manager – Cards – Northampton 

About the Job you are considering:

Purpose of the Role as a “Project Manager” to manage change projects focused on TSYS Issuing platform and related product enhancements, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will lead projects that enable strategic objectives such as platform upgrades, new card product launches, scheme mandate compliance, and operational improvements.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.


Your Role:

  • Manage end to end delivery of TSYS Issuing projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies.
  • Engage with senior management, project teams, and external partners (TSYS, card schemes, vendors) to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Coordinate project teams and vendor resources, ensuring appropriate skills and capacity to deliver objectives.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and timely reporting of variances.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies; maintain RAID logs and escalate as needed.
  • Produce accurate, timely reports on progress, risks, and benefits realization for governance forums.
  • Facilitate training, communications, and process updates to embed TSYS changes into BAU operations.
     

Your Skills:

You should have experience with

  •  6-10+ years in payments/card issuing projects, with hands on experience in TSYS Issuing platform.
  • Strong understanding of card issuing lifecycle: BIN management, embossing/personalization, tokenization, EMV, 3DS/SCA, fraud/disputes.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor delivery and scheme compliance (Visa/Mastercard mandates).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (PCI DSS, PSD2, FCA) and operational resilience requirements.
  • Experience in hybrid delivery (Agile + stage gate) and large scale change governance.
