About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking a delivery focused Project Manager to lead the development and enhancement of the Cyber Response Plan for the Process Data Quickly PDQ service This role requires strong expertise across payments acquiring systems cyber security compliance and complex technology delivery

The Project Manager will work closely with cross functional teams to assess current capabilities identify gaps against Group Cyber requirements and drive a structured remediation roadmap including cost and implementation planning A strong understanding of HPE Nonstop infrastructure BASE24 and end-to-end card payment processing is critical

 

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

 

Your Role:

Cyber Response Compliance Delivery
Lead the end to end delivery of the Cyber Response Plan for the PDQ service
Ensure alignment with Group Cyber Security standards policies and regulatory requirements
Drive structured gap analysis to identify deviations from required security controls
Oversee the development of remediation plans including timelines dependencies and cost estimates
Project Delivery Execution
Manage full lifecycle delivery across Core Acquiring platforms ensuring scope schedule budget and quality objectives are met
Develop and maintain
Detailed project plans
RAID logs
Resource and capacity models
Governance and reporting frameworks
Coordinate cross functional workstreams spanning
Payment processing systems BASE24
HPE Nonstop infrastructure
Application and integration layers
Technical Domain Coordination
Build a strong understanding of BASE24 application architecture and HPE Nonstop environments
Coordinate delivery across
Payment authorization systems
Clearing and settlement processes
Interface integrations APIs message flows
Ensure systems meet resilience availability and security requirements in high availability environments
Stakeholder Governance Management
Act as the primary interface for business cyber security engineering and infrastructure stakeholders
Lead governance forums including
Steering committees
Status reporting
Risk and escalation management
Ensure clear communication of risks dependencies and delivery progress
Risk Change Cost Management
Identify and mitigate technical operational and regulatory risks
Manage change control processes and scope evolution
Define and track cost estimates and budget implications for remediation activities
Ensure auditability and compliance readiness throughout delivery

Required Skills Experience
Domain Expertise
Strong knowledge of payment acquiring processes
Deep understanding of
Credit card authorisation
Clearing and settlement lifecycle
Experience with BASE24 or similar payment switching platforms is essential

Technical Platform Knowledge
Familiarity with HPE Nonstop systems and mission critical infrastructure
Understanding of cyber security frameworks controls and compliance requirements eg PCIDSS enterprise cyber standards
Experience delivering projects within high availability regulated financial environments

Project Delivery Management
Proven track record of delivering complex cross domain technology initiatives
Experience in gap analysis remediation planning and compliance driven delivery
Strong command of Agile Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
Ability to manage multiple dependencies in matrixed organizations

Tools Collaboration
Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for delivery tracking documentation and collaboration
Experience with project planning and reporting tools e.g. MS Project
