About the Job you are considering:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager  with strong London Market Insurance domain expertise to support business and technology transformation initiatives for a specialty insurance client.
The candidate should have strong experience across London Market insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, delegated authority, bordereaux, reinsurance, premium processing, regulatory reporting, data, and system transformation.
The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with business users, underwriters, claims teams, brokers, operations teams, compliance teams, technology teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, document business rules, and support successful delivery of insurance change programmes

 

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of projects within the London Market Insurance domain, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones effectively.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders including underwriters, claims teams, brokers, operations, compliance, and technology teams.
  4. Drive delivery across core insurance processes such as underwriting, claims, policy administration, premium processing, reinsurance, and regulatory reporting.
  5. Oversee delegated authority and bordereaux management processes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  6. Manage transformation initiatives across London Market systems, platforms, and operating models.
  7. Establish governance frameworks including project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, and executive dashboards.
  8. Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, software providers, and offshore delivery teams for seamless execution.
  9. Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, testing, and implementation planning.
  10. Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and delivery progress while supporting UAT, release management, change management, and post-implementation activities.
