About the Job you are considering:
This role leads the end‑to‑end delivery of change initiatives by owning planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment. It drives agile delivery disciplines, manages risks, financials, and vendor relationships, and ensures products are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality.
The position requires strong expertise in change management frameworks, sprint‑based delivery, and navigating complex regulatory and business environments. Success relies on strong influencing skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring continuous delivery and organisational alignment.

Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Job Role

  • Define and own the content and direction of change projects to enable high‑performance, continuous delivery.
  • Create and maintain delivery plans based on the Product Owner’s roadmap and Kanban workflows.
  • Establish and drive delivery disciplines, cadence, and standards for the feature team.
  • Own issue and blocker management, including status, resolution, and identifying/managing risks, seeking support where required.
  • Own delivery status reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity of all facts.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including running RFPs and handling contract management activities.
  • Control financials, including forecasting, tracking actuals, and managing to budget.
  • Take overall accountability for delivering the product on time, within cost, and to expected quality, ensuring velocity is maintained and change is managed effectively.
  • Ensure the wider organisation remains aligned and engaged with feature team needs, including securing timely governance approvals and dispensations.
  • Provide change management and project management expertise to assigned change initiatives.
  • Apply Agile delivery methodologies with hands‑on experience managing sprint‑based deliveries.

Job Skills

  • Possess strong knowledge of change management methods and tools, particularly the Change Management method and toolkit.
  • Understand the roles, responsibilities, and value proposition of Barclays Change Management.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing and networking skills to build relationships and shape stakeholder opinions and actions.
  • Use analytical thinking, creativity, and innovation to provide practical solutions to business‑critical issues.
  • Understand, at a high level, how complex business needs interact with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively, multitask, and deliver with flawless execution at pace.
  • Apply sound commercial judgment with strong understanding of the financial services industry and the impact of regulation.
  • Comply with Strategic Change Execution Board Standards, Group Change Governance framework, and mandated business change methods, standards, and tools.

Heorshe has a good knowledge of Agile, Lean, SCRUM and Kanban that can be leveraged to manage a design and development team. Heorshe builds product backlog starting from the findings from design research and stakeholder interviews. Heorshe manages feedback during design and development processes including design reviews and collaborate with Product Owners to review acceptance criteria.
