Your role
As an Applied and Computational Sciences Principal Consultant, you will be at the forefront of solving complex business challenges through scientific methods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive technological advancement for our clients across various industries.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Providing expert consultancy to clients using scientific approaches and industry experience to solve their business problems
- Leading proposal activities to create compelling, value-driven offers for our clients
- Leading project teams in gathering and analysing client requirements to develop tailored solutions
- Preparation of client deliverables including presentations, reports, and documentation
- Facilitating client meetings and workshops to understand business challenges and
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of Capgemini's computational science capabilities
Your Profile
- Higher education (PhD, Masters, etc) in Computational Science, Applied Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a related discipline, complemented by over 15 years of distinguished professional experience.
- Recognised for providing strategic consultancy at the highest levels, advising executive stakeholders and shaping organisational direction.
- Established authority across multiple sectors—including life sciences, consumer products, energy, and defense—delivering domain-specific insights that drive transformation.
- Proven history of architecting and implementing innovative solutions to address complex, high-impact business challenges.
- Widely acknowledged for setting industry direction through visionary thought leadership and influencing best practices across the field.
