YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps AWS Platform Lead to drive the design implementation and optimization of cloudnative solutions on AWS.The role involves leading platform engineering initiatives ensuring scalability security and reliability across complex banking applications

YOUR PROFILE

• Lead the AWS platform engineering strategy ensuring alignment with Barclays cloud adoption framework and security standards
• Architect and implement CICD pipelines using tools like GitLab Jenkins or similar for automated deployments
• Manage Infrastructure as Code IaC using Terraform Cloud Formation for provisioning and configuration
• Oversee containerization and orchestration Docker Kubernetes KS for microservices based applications
• Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions CloudWatch Prometheus ELK stack for proactive system reliability
• Drive cost optimization performance tuning and compliance across AWS environments
• Collaborate with development security and operations teams to ensure DevSecOps best practices
• Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement
• AWS Expertise EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM Cloud Formation Terraform
• DevOps Tools GitLab Jenkins Ansible Docker Kubernetes KS,CI/CD Automation
• Strong experience in pipeline design and deployment automation
• Monitoring Logging CloudWatch ELK Prometheus Grafana
• Security Compliance Knowledge of AWS security best practices and regulatory compliance in banking
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and banking domain experience preferred
