About the Job you are considering:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transition of an Authorized Fund Manager (AFM) to a Host Authorized Corporate Director (ACD) model. The role requires ownership of regulatory, operational, legal, commercial, and governance workstreams to ensure seamless and compliant migration with minimal impact on clients, funds, and business operations.


Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.


Your Role:


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive transition plan covering:
    • Governance
    • Regulatory approvals
    • Fund novation/migration
    • Operational onboarding
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders across:
    • Legal
    • Compliance
    • Operations
    • Distribution
    • External service providers
  • Manage regulatory engagement, including interactions with the FCA, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Oversee relationships with key third parties:
    • Host ACD
    • Depositaries
    • Fund administrators
    • Custodians
  • Identify, track, and mitigate:
    • Risks
    • Issues
    • Dependencies
  • Ensure:
    • Accurate data migration
    • Documentation updates
    • Operational readiness
  • Provide clear governance reporting and stakeholder communication to senior leadership.
  • Support:
    • Testing
    • Implementation
    • Go-live activities
    • Post-transition stabilization
