About the Job you are considering:

We are looking for a Solution Data Architect to drive our Connecting the Value Stream (CVS) transformation by enabling a consistent, enterprise-aligned data architecture across systems.

In this role, you will design end-to-end data flows, canonical data models, and integration mappings aligned to the CDM, supporting a “capture once, use everywhere” approach. You will work closely with architects, integration teams, vendors, and governance teams to ensure high data quality, consistency, and adherence to enterprise standards.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

  • Define and govern end-to-end data flows across systems and platforms
  • Design and maintain canonical data models and system-level data structures aligned to enterprise standards
  • Develop integration mappings aligned with the Canonical Data Model (CDM)
  • Ensure seamless data integration across core systems and supporting platforms
  • Embed data architecture best practices into delivery processes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, integration teams, and vendors
  • Support data impact assessments and design decisions across programs
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance, including reference data alignment
  • Establish and manage data ownership and accountability frameworks
  • Design solutions that support both operational and analytical use cases, especially across underwriting, policy, and claims domains

Your Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Data Architect
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
  • Integration patterns and architectural design principles
  • Experience with:
  • Confluent and Apache Flink integrations (highly desirable)
  • Power Apps / Dataverse (advantageous)
  • Erwin or similar data modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, geographies, and seniority levels
  • Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders
