YOUR ROLE
As a Managing Consultant - Supply Chain Analytics, you will lead strategic transformation initiatives with a strong focus on leveraging data and analytics to optimize supply chain performance. You will work with clients to enhance demand and supply planning, forecasting, logistics, procurement, and inventory management by applying advanced analytical techniques, digital tools, and data-driven insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
This role involves working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex supply chain challenges into robust solutions that drive measurable impact.
As a valued Managing Consultant in our Operational Analytics team, you will be involved in the following:
Data-Driven Supply Chain Strategy
- Use data analytics to assess current supply chain performance and identify inefficiencies across planning, sourcing, logistics, and fulfilment.
- Develop and implement data-informed strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase supply chain agility.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Planning & Forecasting
- Support clients in building robust demand forecasting and supply planning models using historical data, market trends, and predictive analytics.
- Enhance S&OP processes through data visualization, simulation, scenario modelling, and KPI tracking.
Procurement & Supplier Analytics
- Analyse supplier performance, spend patterns, and risk exposure to inform sourcing strategies and contract negotiations.
- Develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor supplier KPIs and procurement efficiency.
Logistics & Network Optimization
- Use data to optimize transportation routes, warehouse operations, and distribution networks.
- Apply geospatial and cost-to-serve analytics to improve delivery performance and reduce logistics costs.
Technology & Tools
- Implement and configure analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) to enable real-time visibility and decision-making.
- Work with ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder) to extract and integrate data for analysis.
- Advise clients on the application of leading-edge technologies, such as Generative and Agentic AI, and their benefits.
Client Engagement & Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver analytics-enabled supply chain transformation projects.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build client capabilities in data & AI literacy, and supply chain analytics.

- Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & development – Training to support your career development and meet evolving skill demands within the company.
YOUR PROFILE
You should have a skillset that combines rigorous thinking, creativity, and thoughtful leadership.
Below are some of the key skills and experiences we look for in candidates – however we don’t expect you to hit all of them, we want to build a team which has a diversity of experiences. We look for:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain projects, including: Assessing supply chain performance across planning, forecasting, sourcing, logistics, and fulfilment.
- Developing data-informed strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase agility.
- Supplier performance analysis, spend analytics, and risk exposure assessment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and systems.
- Optimizing transportation routes, warehouse operations, and distribution networks.
- Implementing and configuring analytics platforms for real-time decision-making
Familiarity with:
- Data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Data preparation and automation tools like Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
- Statistical and predictive analytics techniques for forecasting and scenario modelling.
- KPI tracking and dashboard development for procurement and supplier performance.
- Geospatial and cost-to-serve analytics for logistics optimization.
- Artificial intelligence tools and technologies, including Generative and Agentic AI.
Proficient in:
- ERP and supply chain systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.
- Supply chain domain concepts including S&OP, procurement, logistics, and fulfilment.
- Market trends and external data sources used in forecasting and planning.
It is desired that you have demonstratable experience in the following areas:
- Leading data analytics, data visualisation and artificial intelligence projects.
- Managing the relationship with senior stakeholders and executives and developing sales opportunities at the back of strong relationship building.
- Managing teams and Agile project management/delivery.
- Developing new capabilities and propositions.
- Storyboarding and communicating complex insights in a way that is easily understood.
- Business analysis, business process modelling, requirements analysis or use case modelling.
