Your Role
Capgemini Invent is hiring an experienced Managing Consultant to work in the UK Telco sector. This role will be fundamental in driving forward the transformation of our clients and their customers.
We are seeking someone that can inspire client stakeholders and take them on the journey of what is bold and new, while being able to deliver the fundamentals of today, building trust. This role will drive the technology and data vision of our team and the development of that vision with our clients.
This is a key role encompassing broad experience across the Telco technology landscape, that ideally would include Mobile, Fixed technologies along with IT (BSS and OSS), with hands-on project delivery/management, as well as some experience in business development/personal sales. This role would suit a technically savvy and commercially minded specialist Telco Architect, who enjoys developing great trust-based client relationships and delivering to them with great consulting solutions.
To do this, we would expect you to have solid experience across the Telco technology landscape, with contacts in the UK Telco sector and be passionate about leveraging your network to identify, develop and close opportunities. We are especially keen to have colleagues join our team with a solid track record for driving technology transformation in UK. This is an exciting chance to drive change across the industry, helping client organisations navigate the ever-changing landscape and customer demands. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be customer-focused and be willing to travel on business. In the majority of cases, assignments will be in the UK and Europe and candidates must have exposure to this geographical area.
Your Profile
- 4G/5G Mobile Network architecture experience
- Fixed Broadband architecture experience
- IT (BSS/OSS) architecture experience
- TOGAF certification
- TMF eTOM and ODA knowledge
- Business Process design
- Experience delivering consulting services in at least one UK CSP
- Support the creation of leading-edge digital experience for customers and employees
- Experience of supporting proposition building and delivery
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
- Business development experience – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships
