Your Role

As part of our Corporate Experience Practice, our Value Strategy & Modelling team ensures that our clients, and ourselves, are crystal clear on the value of every engagement, from the first conversation through to delivery of outcomes.

We combine chartered accountancy expertise with a strong modelling skillset to bring financial credibility and rigour to pursuits and delivery. The team operates across three pillars:

Identification of Value – Proactively sourcing opportunities to add value for clients before the RfP stage, leveraging market intelligence and forensic financial insight.

Definition of Value – Building comprehensive business cases and robust value stories that withstand CFO-level scrutiny.

Realisation of Value – Embedding value tracking frameworks during delivery, providing transparency and enabling outcome-based deals.

This is a high-profile, growing team with a clear mandate from leadership to strengthen win rates, improve margin, and reinforce our reputation for value-led transformation.

As a Management Consultant in the Value Strategy & Modelling team, you will:

  • Shape pursuits: Work alongside pursuit teams to develop client-side business cases and value stories that differentiate us in competitive situations.
  • Build business cases: Design robust, board-ready models quantifying value across cost, growth, cash, and broader priorities (e.g. brand, ESG, customer impact, employees).
  • Conduct market intelligence: Use external insights and forensic accounting techniques to identify opportunities and pressure points for clients.
  • Support outcome-based deals: Quantify and model scenarios that support innovative commercial constructs.
  • Embed value tracking: Develop and implement frameworks to monitor realised value during delivery.
  • Engage senior stakeholders: Present and defend business cases to internal leaders, client CFOs, and boards.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Consulting, Pricing, and Commercial teams to ensure financial credibility across pursuits and delivery.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities),  offering development.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We’re looking for candidates who bring a combination of the following experiences and strengths. You don’t need to meet every criterion—if you’re excited by the role and have relevant skills, we’d love to hear from you.

  • A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in financial modelling, including Excel-based business cases, scenario analysis, and ROI/NPV/IRR assessments.
  • Background in consulting—whether from a traditional consultancy, strategy firm, or internal corporate strategy/FP&A team with advisory exposure.
  • Confidence in building board-level business cases or financial models.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving, paired with commercial awareness.
  • Experience with outcome-based or performance-based contracting.
  • Exposure to value creation initiatives or transaction-related services.

What You'll Love About Working Here

You'll be part of a team where people can thrive professionally and personally. Here are just a few of the things our team values and enjoys:

  • Visibility with senior leadership: Exposure to pursuit leads, pricing leads, and senior c-suite leaders
