Lead Business Analyst
About the Job you are considering:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in large‑scale data regulatory and transformation programmes. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in data analysis, data lineage, data quality, and requirements gathering within complex enterprise environments, along with solid familiarity with governance frameworks, control standards, enterprise systems, and structured delivery processes.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- You will act as a Business Analyst supporting large‑scale data regulatory and transformation programmes.
- Lead end‑to‑end analysis across business and technology workstreams.
- Capture, document, and validate business, functional, and data requirements.
- Analyse data flows, data lineage, data quality, and data models for gaps or inconsistencies.
- Support data mapping, transformation rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct impact assessments for data‑related changes across enterprise systems.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and controls teams to enhance data governance.
Your Skills:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven capabilities in data analysis, data modelling, data quality, and lineage assessment.
- Expertise in requirement gathering across business and technical stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of banking domains such as Risk, Finance, Treasury, Payments, and Customer/Product data.
- Hands‑on with SQL, data profiling tools, and large datasets (preferred).
- Proficiency in Agile practices with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across global teams.
