Your Role  

Capgemini is seeking an Java FullStack Developer (React/Angular) to join Capgemini Financial Services Digital Practice. This is a permanent, full-time position in London, UK and this represents a unique opportunity for someone to enhance their Digital Consulting career. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for leading teams, designing scalable systems, and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of full stack developers in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.
• Design and implement scalable and secure backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
  

Your Profile 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on Java technologies.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and application security best practices.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
