We are seeking experienced Java FullStack developer (ReactJS & AngularJS) with strong expertise in banking domain who will overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will design and build high quality software solutions that power meaningful outcomes for our clients. You will contribute as an AI fluent engineer, collaborating across cross functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and modern digital platforms. This role offers the opportunity to shape future ready solutions while supporting our mission of building a skilled, innovative, and forward looking engineering workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, scalable, and maintainable software aligned to business and platform objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape requirements and technical solution approaches.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence through peer collaboration, constructive code reviews, and shared learning.
- Apply secure by design principles and ensure code quality through effective testing and structured engineering practices.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and contribute to C&CA knowledge communities.
- Support growth of a future ready workforce by applying AI enabled practices and mentoring peers
- Strong experience in Java 17+ software development and Spring Boot 3+.
- Strong core Java skills including Generics, OOPS, Collections, Multithreading, I/O, Streams, REST, JPA.
- Strong knowledge of Microservice development using Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of HTML5, TypeScript, and ReactJS 16+ or Angular 10+.
- Ability to read, write, and debug multithreaded Java code.
- Hands on experience with enterprise design patterns and web architectures.
- Experience with memory and performance profiling.
- Experience with Kafka or MQ (pub/sub middleware).
- Tools experience: JIRA, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, GitLab, Docker.
- Strong experience in AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS IAM.
- Proficiency in unit testing (JUnit 4/5), Karma or Jest, and familiarity with BDD/TDD.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred).
- Strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern engineering pipelines.
- Working experience in Agile methodology.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with OpenShift or other cloud based platforms.
- Structured and analytical approach to managing multiple workstreams.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
