At the AIE, you'll be part of a small team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs. 

 

 

 

You will work alongside clients, account execs, UX designers, developers and product owners to ideate, experiment, and build rapid proof of concepts and innovations for a range of clients leveraging the latest emerging technolo­gy. 

 

 

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

Your primary role will be to work with Senior Innovation Consultants in supporting the shaping and selling of our innovation products and services, and working on innovation engagements which deliver value for our customers. 

 

 

You will have a passion for innovation and emerging technology and embrace working with new ideas and methods. You will be comfortable working in an ambitious, start-up style culture where you will play a part in our growth and contribute to the development of the team through a number of internal projects. 

 

 

Sell Innovation: 

  • Support the creation of proposals for innovation opportunities using structured thinking, visioning and storytelling to bring innovation opportunities to life for our customers 

Explore Innovation: 

  • Participate in and run Innovation Tours to demonstrate our culture, method and capabilities to customers and colleagues within the business 
  • Lead ‘Discovery’ engagements and workshops with customers – creating session agendas, managing the development of the session content, and co-ordinating the logistics for the sessions 
  • Co-Facilitate ‘Discover’ workshops with customer on their business problems and emerging technology topics, using a range of different facilitation, ideation and innovation methods/ techniques 

Create Innovation: 

  • Work with  Senior  Innovation  Consultants  to prove the commercial business case for an innovation opportunity, proving the business value, risks, and constraints for customers 
  • Work with Senior Product Owners to product manage the development of innovation proof of values for customers – managing a product backlog, defining user stories, and testing the product with end users 
  • Work with our customers and wider SMEs to lead concept development for innovation, coming up novel ideas and framing them in imaginative ways.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Ability to think on your feet, bring an outside in perspective and work in an emerging and fast paced environment 
  • A passion for innovation and emerging technology, a thirst for new ideas and appetite to embrace new ways of working 
  • Experience working on innovation related services at or for Corporates.
  • An understanding of project management methodology – including Agile and Design Thinking methodology – and experience in leading your own stream of work 
  • An understanding of business model methodologies and an understanding of basic financial concepts
  • Expirence with Human Centred Design / Design thinking.
  • Experience of meeting management and workshop facilitation (as a co-facilitator) both online and in person, project management tools and techniques (Trello, Notion, Mural, Miro etc) 
  • Experience of customer journey mapping and creation, innovation storytelling and concept development 

Your Security Clearence

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
