Head of Creative Services, Capgemini Learning

Job Description

Capgemini Group Learning & Development is looking for an experienced marketing and design leader with a successful track record in creative agencies or corporate learning. The Creation function within Capgemini University is an agency at the intersection of Capgemini’s learning design and marketing functions, including learning experience design, instructional and technical design, marketing, and branding. We specialize in creating immersive and impactful learning solutions that seamlessly blend education, engagement, and storytelling. As we continue to transform our ways of working, and push the boundaries of innovation, we are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Creative Services to lead our team to new heights.

If you’re an experienced creative leader, able to inspire your team members, and a motivated ‘doer’ who likes to get things done, we’d like to meet you.

Role Context:

Capgemini Group Learning & Development is transforming how learning is designed, delivered, experienced, and scaled—leveraging AI, data, and human centred design to accelerate workforce capability and business impact.

The Creation function within Capgemini University operates as a global, in house creative and learning design agency sitting at the intersection of:
•    Learning architecture and experience design
•    Instructional, technical, graphic, and motion design
•    Marketing, branding, and learner engagement
•    AI-enabled content creation and personalization
•    Management of our Learning experience layer/ interface, and partnerships in that space

As Head of Creative Services, you play a pivotal leadership role in shaping this transformation—ensuring that AI is embedded by default in how learning is conceived, designed, built, marketed, and continuously improved.

You are both:
•    A strategic leader shaping the future of learning at scale
•    A recognized AI expert in learning, translating emerging technologies into practical, high impact learning solutions

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Learning, you are a core member of the global L&D leadership team, jointly accountable for driving Capgemini’s learning vision and transformation agenda, ensuring we build best-in-class solutions that support our mission to “empower our people to grow and learn every day.” You will lead the global Design and Marketing function: Learning Architects, Instructional and Technical Design, Graphic and Motion Design, Portfolio Marketing, and Communications, and help shape the future of the creative function as a pivotal role in the global L&D Transformation.

In this role, you will also drive innovation and help to shape the future of Capgemini’s global learning and development programs to be implemented throughout the business. Together with the Head of Learning, you will drive the AI transformation of learning—from strategy to execution—ensuring Capgemini builds best in class, AI augmented learning ecosystems that provide real-world practical learning, empowering our people to grow and perform every day.

This role shapes how learning is designed and experienced globally, blending creativity, technology, AI, and data to deliver learning that is relevant, scalable, personalized, and measurable. You will bring strong creative, leadership, and strategic thinking skills to support the strategy, planning and delivery of high-quality learning offers. And you will not be afraid to get your hands dirty yourself if, and when the need arises. You will work closely to align with key stakeholders across the business for all learning portfolios, programs, and events.

Who are you?

•    A seasoned Creative Director or Learning Director with 10+ years’ experience leading creative agencies or global learning teams
•    Experienced in AI and technology enabled learning, with a practical, value driven mindset
•    Deep passion for storytelling, design innovation, and emerging market trends, with a strong track record of translating ideas into compelling learning experiences
•    Thrives at the intersection of creativity, business strategy, and learning impact, consistently delivering breakthrough solutions at scale
•    A people centred leader committed to developing talent and building high performing, multidisciplinary teams
•    A collaborative leader who actively breaks silos to create integrated, end to end learning solutions focused on the end user
•    Known for big ideas, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute, balancing vision with hands on delivery
•    A confident, energetic, and highly driven individual who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact in redefining global learning
•    Equally comfortable shaping strategy at enterprise level and getting hands on when impact requires it
•    Passionate about developing people—both learners and your own teams

Responsibilities:

As Head of Creative Services within Capgemini Learning, you will have the key accountability to drive the global design and build function – as a creative agency – servicing all the requirements of Group learning, plus all individual Global Business Lines or Strategic Business Units. Activities typically include, but are not limited to:

•    Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Learning Creation, aligning creative learning strategies with the company’s overall goals.
•    Learning Creative Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the learning strategies, company's objectives, priorities, and growth plans.

•    Act as a thought leader and internal authority on AI in Learning, translating emerging technologies into tangible value and outcomes, partnering closely with the Head of Learning to co design and deliver the end to end AI-enabled learning transformation roadmap.
•    Delivery Excellence: Drive the development and execution of creative initiatives that integrate learning experience design, instructional design, marketing, and branding.
•    Team Management: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of creatives, including learning experience designers, instructional and technical designers, graphic and motion designers, marketers, and branding specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages cross-functional creativity.
•    Integrated Campaigns: Oversee the development of integrated campaigns that seamlessly weave together learning experiences, instructional content, and compelling brand narratives.
•    Driving innovation: encourage a curious mindset in the team to explore new possibilities and always looking for the now, new, and next of learning, design, and marketing innovations.
•    Assessment and Evaluation: Develop systems for assessing the effectiveness of learning programs and use data-driven insights to make continuous improvements.
•    Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, to gather insights and develop tailored learning solutions.
•    Budget Management: Manage the design budget within the wider learning Centre of Competence, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
•    Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Stay informed about relevant industry standards and compliance regulations, ensuring that learning materials are compliant.
•    Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Work closely with learning stakeholders and the wider business to understand the unique ambitions and learning requirements, ensuring creative learning solutions that exceed expectations.
•    Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality in all creative outputs, maintaining consistency and excellence across diverse projects.
•    Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including talent and budget, to maximize creativity and efficiency in project delivery.
