About the Job you are considering:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale integration solutions across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite ecosystem, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Design, develop, and implement integrations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Build and maintain integration solutions using the Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Develop and support RESTful and SOAP-based web services for internal and external system integrations.
- Configure and develop Guidewire Messaging Framework components for asynchronous and event-driven integrations.
- Design and develop Guidewire Plugins to support custom business integrations.
- Develop and maintain GOSU code supporting integration services and business processes.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support system upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, and Guidewire modernization programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and integration design documents.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Ensure integration solutions comply with security, performance, scalability, and operational requirements.
Your Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Deep understanding of the Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Expertise in GOSU Programming, Plugin Development, Messaging Framework, Event-Based Integrations, Batch Integrations and Guidewire APIs
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Enterprise Integrations, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Event-Driven Architectures
- Experience with middleware and integration platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the London Market Insurance domain and a proven track record of designing and leading complex integrations across underwriting, policy administration, claims, delegated authority, bordereaux processing, reinsurance, and third-party market systems.
