About the job you’re considering
As a Sogeti UK consultant, you will be part of the Digital Assurance and Quality Engineering practice and represent Sogeti by providing expert solutions to our customers to help us maintain our position as a leader in the market. You will work on different client sites in a range of industries that include; well-known global grands, government, finance, insurance, aerospace and media/digital. You will gain exposure to a variety of tools and technologies that will allow you to continuously develop as a subject matter expert in quality engineering.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

- Work with the latest testing tools and upskill in different technologies through our work on various customer sites.
- Gain experience within a market leader in Next-Generation Software Testing Services.

Your skills and experience
- Knowledge and experience of scripting and development in any OOP language such as Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, Perl, Python or Ruby.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of Cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of automated test tools such as Selenium, Tosca or EggPlant.
- Awareness of Continuous Integration / Deployment (CI/CD), Server Configuration and Automation tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI techniques, particularly prompt engineering.
- Flexibility on travel / work locations during the working week.
Your security clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
- There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
- There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
