Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Solution Lead with strong expertise in modern UI frameworks and solid backend development skills to join our Experience Design & Engineering Capability Unit. In this role, you will lead the development of innovative web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will play a key role in developing scalable, secure, and user-centric web applications, combining strong front-end skills with back-end integration expertise. You will collaborate with designers, architects, and product owners to create high-performance solutions for enterprise clients. You will act as a trusted advisor and technology leader, responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and future-proof digital solutions for clients across banking, insurance, wealth, and capital markets. This role requires Front End Experience Design & Full Stack Engineering skills and combines deep FSI industry knowledge with hands-on experience in designing complex enterprise and customer-facing solutions—leveraging cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, data, and emerging GenAI & Agentic AI technologies. You’ll play a leading role in pre-sales initiatives, architecture governance, and end-to-end solution delivery within the practice and with clients.

Your Skills:

Solution Architecture

  • Lead the design, solution definition and delivery of full stack front-end (Mobile and Wed) solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, ensuring alignment with Client’s architecture standards, regulatory expectations, and digital transformation goals.
  • Experience with distributed and event driven systems
  • Needs to further develop a broader perspective in solution design, along with presentation skills and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to define high level and low level solution designs
  • Analyse business requirements and convert them into functional, technical, and integration design specifications
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Client’s architecture frameworks, security protocols, data governance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, FCA guidelines)
  • Work across cross functional squads to design end to end journeys across channels, APIs, applications, and backend systems.
  • Support design reviews, feasibility assessments, effort estimates, and dependency mapping.
  • Provide guidance during development, SIT/UAT, and production rollout to ensure alignment with approved designs.
  • Identify technical risks and propose mitigations while ensuring design scalability, performance, and resilience.
  • Maintain solution documentation, sequence diagrams, integration contracts, and data flow mappings.
    Delivery
  • Oversee and mentor engineering teams, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using modern frameworks
  • Collaborate with UXUI designers to deliver intuitive and accessible user experiences
  • Implement backend services and APIs to support frontend functionality
  • Ensure application security scalability and compliance with Barclays standards
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Product ownership including backlog prioritisation based on use case business value
    Market Development
  • Collaborate with sales, account management, practice and COE teams to identify and pursue digital transformation opportunities.
  • Support pre-sales activities (RFIs/RFPs, proposal & proposition development) including solution shaping, estimating, scoping, and bid defence for digital transformation opportunities.
  • Articulate complex technical concepts and solution value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Act as a thought leader within Capgemini’s front-end community, contributing to growing the practice, innovation and capability development.
    Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Strong developmental skills and technical leadership across front-end (React, Angular, Vue,)
  • Strong developmental skills and technical leadership across back-end (Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, .NET, RESTful APIs microservices), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CICD tools GitLab, Jenkins
  • Strong experience in responsive design principles
  • Expertise in JavaScript(ES6+)/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React preferred, Angular/Vue a plus).
  • Experience of at least one leading Node framework (Express.js, Nest.js, Hapi.js)
  • Expertise in at least one modern front-end framework (Nest.js, Remix.js).
  • Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, GraphQL, and integration patterns.
  • Good to have mobile architecture expertise (native iOS/Android, Flutter, React Native)
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.
  • Good to have experience with UXUI principles wireframing and accessibility standards
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies ScrumSAFe
  • Good to have Kafka/MQ development experience
