At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.
YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Director in our Finance Transformation practice, you will lead major global finance transformations for FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients. You will shape CFO‑level strategies and deliver complex programmes centred on AI‑native Finance Operating Model redesign, S/4HANA Finance, Global Business Services (GBS) and Integrated Performance Management (IPM).
Specifically, you will:
Finance Operating Model
- Sell and lead enterprise‑wide programmes that help clients build AI‑native Finance Operating Models, shaping the vision, securing executive alignment, and driving multi‑million‑pound transformation outcomes.
- Design and deliver the end‑to‑end Finance Operating Model, including organisation structures, spans & layers, role clarity, decision rights, Global Process Ownership, governance and controls, data ownership, and service‑delivery models (Retained Finance, GBS/GCCs, hubs, CoEs), with embedded performance‑management foundations.
Transformation Delivery and S/4 Hana
- Sell and lead enterprise S/4HANA Finance transformations, shaping the vision and roadmap with the CFO, aligning SI partners, and steering £multi‑million pursuits from qualification to close to drive measurable value.
- Design and deliver end‑to‑end S/4 Finance adopting fit-to-standard and clean core approaches to global process harmonisation, data standards and controls, Group Reporting and FP&A architectures, and value‑tracking; embed AI‑enabled forecasting and intelligent automation where it lifts accuracy, speed and control.
Integrated Performance Management
- Sell and lead enterprise IPM modernisation, creating executive demand for integrated planning, reporting and analytics; originate propositions and change orders linked to planning, reporting and insight automation.
- Design and deliver IPM at scale: KPI hierarchies and performance dialogues, Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting calendars, EPM architectures (e.g., SAC/Group Reporting), and benefit tracking — embedding AI‑assisted variance analysis, predictive planning and narrative generation to accelerate decisions.
You will operate as a senior leader responsible for client growth, programme outcomes, proposition development, and internal practice leadership. You will expand our C‑Suite relationships and build pipeline across key accounts and new markets with an annual sales target of £3M per annum.
YOUR PROFILE
Passionate about finance transformation and making this real for clients, you will have:
- Extensive experience delivering large, multi‑year finance transformations for Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 clients
- Career background typically in a Big 4 or top tier global consultancy
- Deep expertise in Finance Operating Model, GBS, and end‑to‑end finance process design
- Strong track record leading S/4HANA-enabled transformation
- Executive presence and experience influencing CFOs and senior leaders
- Proven capability to lead large programme teams and scale consulting practices
