YOUR ROLE

As a Director in our Finance Transformation practice, you will lead major global finance projects for FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients. You manage finance leadership team relationships and deliver complex programmes centred on AI‑native Finance Operating Model redesign, S/4HANA Finance, Global Business Services (GBS) and Integrated Performance Management (IPM).

Specifically, you will:

Finance Operating Model

• Sell and lead enterprise‑wide projects or workstreams that help clients build AI‑native Finance Operating Models, shaping the vision, securing executive alignment, and driving multi‑million‑pound transformation outcomes.
• Design and deliver the end‑to‑end Finance Operating Model, including organisation structures, spans & layers, role clarity, decision rights, Global Process Ownership, governance and controls, data ownership, and service‑delivery models (Retained Finance, GBS/GCCs, hubs, CoEs), with embedded performance‑management foundations.

Transformation Delivery and S/4 Hana

• Sell and lead enterprise S/4HANA Finance projects and workstreams, shaping the vision and roadmap with the CFO, aligning SI partners, and steering £multi‑million pursuits from qualification to close to drive measurable value.
• Deliver S/4 Finance across key processes (R2R, FP&A, Group Reporting, P2P, O2C) using fit‑to‑standard and clean‑core approaches, supporting data, controls, harmonisation and value tracking. Embed AI‑enabled forecasting or automation where it adds value.

Integrated Performance Management

• Sell and lead IPM workstreams, creating demand for integrated planning, reporting and analytics; shape propositions and change orders.
• Design KPI frameworks, PB&F calendars and performance dialogues; deliver EPM/reporting models (e.g., SAC, Group Reporting) aligned to S/4 data structures. Incorporate AI‑supported insights such as predictive planning and variance analysis.

You will operate as a senior leader responsible for client growth, programme outcomes, proposition development, and internal practice leadership.  You will expand our C‑Suite relationships and build pipeline across key accounts and new markets with an annual sales target of £2M per annum.

YOUR PROFILE

Passionate about finance transformation and making this real for clients, you will have:

• Significant experience delivering major finance or ERP transformation workstreams for FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients
• Career background typically in a Big 4 or global consultancy
• Strong knowledge of Finance Operating Model, GBS and enterprise process design
• Deep experience in S/4HANA Finance delivery
• Ability to influence senior Finance leaders (FDs, Controllers, Heads of FP&A)
• Proven leadership of multi‑disciplinary delivery teams and S/4 / TOM workstreams
