FP&A Business Transformation Director
About the job you are considering
Capgemini Business Services is seeking an executive-level FP&A Business Transformation Director to help shape, grow and lead our UK FP&A transformation capability within the Intelligent Finance and Accounting Operations practice.
This is a senior market-facing role for a recognised finance transformation leader who can engage credibly with CFOs, controllership leaders and senior FP&A stakeholders. You will help clients reimagine planning, forecasting, performance management and decision support through modern operating models, data, automation and leading Enterprise Performance Management technologies.
You’ll join a growing Projects & Consulting practice where you can combine strategic advisory, commercial leadership and delivery excellence: building trusted executive relationships, shaping major transformation opportunities, leading high-impact programmes and developing the FP&A proposition that will support the continued growth of Capgemini’s finance transformation business.
Your role
As FP&A Business Transformation Director, you will take a visible leadership role in the market, helping clients respond to increasing pressure for faster planning cycles, more accurate forecasting, stronger performance insight and better use of data, automation and EPM platforms.
• Lead the growth of Capgemini’s FP&A transformation capability, shaping our market proposition, points of view, methods and accelerators.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with CFOs, finance transformation leaders, controllership teams and senior FP&A stakeholders.
• Originate, shape and support the conversion of high-value consulting and transformation opportunities across existing and new clients.
• Lead complex FP&A transformation engagements, from strategy and business case through to design, implementation and adoption.
• Advise clients on modern planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics and decision-support models enabled by platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, Board, SAP, Oracle and Power BI.
Your skills and experience
You are an established finance transformation leader with the executive presence, commercial judgement and consulting credibility to influence senior clients and grow a differentiated FP&A transformation business. You will be comfortable moving from board-level conversations to proposition shaping and delivery leadership, bringing both strategic perspective and practical execution discipline.
• Significant senior-level experience in FP&A, finance transformation, controllership, EPM consulting or a closely related advisory discipline.
• Experience advising CFOs and senior finance leaders on planning, forecasting, performance management, reporting, analytics and operating model transformation.
• Commercial experience identifying, shaping and winning transformation opportunities, including proposal leadership and executive-level client presentations.
• Credibility in technology-enabled finance transformation, with familiarity across EPM, ERP, analytics, automation and AI-enabled finance solutions.
• Leadership experience building teams, developing capability and creating reusable consulting assets, methods or propositions.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent qualification would be beneficial.
Hybrid working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs and those of the business. It will be a blend of Capgemini offices, client sites and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
