Delivery Director - Cloud Infrastructure

The Delivery Director is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of our services be that project or managed. You will own the overall client relationship and are accountable for driving value for our clients whilst at the same time owning the P&L.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

This is a leadership role with the Delivery Director orchestrating how we deliver for our customers, whilst at the same time ensuring we deliver on our commitments to Capgemini. You will own the client relationship and through your own insights and that of the team you can show intimacy with the client strategy, IT infrastructure, pain points and risk by focussing on the following:

 

  • Grow the business, achieve the revenue and margin growth targets.
  • Understand the CIS portfolio, able to work with architects to position internally and with clients to address their strategic needs.  
  • Own and coordinate the solution lifecycle from inception to close for delivery led sales.
  • Accountable for the delivery across projects and managed services including the accuracy and health of our engagements.
  • Lead Service Delivery managers, Engagement Management and Architects through on account or cluster leadership.
  • Report to CIS country and regional leadership.

Your skills and experience

  • Understands the client business and sector and will achieve L2 industry certification.
  • Has a proven track record of leadership, commercial understanding, string communicator and a proven track record of leading complex engagements.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of business development, able to both sell and deliver.
  • P&L understanding with an ability to manage forecast cycles, mitigating risks and delivering on opportunities.
  • EM certification to L2 or equivalent.

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. 

 

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

 

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
