About the Job you are considering:

A results‑driven data quality and ETL testing specialist experienced in leading end‑to‑end QA strategies for large‑scale data transformation programmes. Skilled in validating complex datasets across cloud, big data, and traditional platforms with strong focus on governance, automation, and risk‑based testing. Proficient in ETL testing, data reconciliation, lineage checks, and managing multi‑phase test cycles across Agile environments. Brings strong Financial Services and Insurance domain expertise, especially in Property & Casualty and Reinsurance.

Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Job Role

  • Define and implement comprehensive Data QA/ETL testing strategies for large-scale data transformation programmes.
  • Establish QA governance frameworks, processes, and quality gates across SDLC/Agile lifecycle.
  • Develop test plans, test scenarios, test data strategies, and acceptance criteria for ETL, data migration, data validation, and reporting layers.
  • Ensure risk-based testing approaches and establish KPIs, traceability matrices, and reporting structures.
  • Lead validation of large-scale datasets across landing, raw, validated, curated, and reporting zones.
  • Oversee ETL and data pipeline testing, including source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, transformation rule verification, schema validation, and data lineage checks.
  • Drive automation opportunities for data quality, regression testing, and pipeline validations.
  • Manage functional, integration, regression, UAT, and production validation cycles.
  • Demonstrate strong ETL/Data Testing expertise across SQL, Oracle, Big Data (Hive, HBase, HDFS), and Azure ADF/ADB.
  • Validate large-scale data migrations and cloud transformation programmes.
  • Use Jira, Confluence, GitLab, IntelliJ, HPALM, Tosca, and Agile methodologies effectively.
  • Perform data analysis, data mining, and produce detailed data quality and reconciliation reports.
  • Bring strong domain experience across Financial Services and Insurance, particularly in Property & Casualty (PC) Insurance and Reinsurance.

Job Skills

  • Strong ETL Data Testing expertise SQL Oracle Big Data Hive H Base HDFS Azure ADFADB.
  • Handson experience validating largescale data migrations and cloud transformations.
  • Sound experience with Jira Confluence GitLab IntelliJ HPALM Tosca and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis data mining and generating data quality reports Domain.
  • Experience working across
  • Financial Services Insurance Strong domain exposure particularly in PC Insurance Reinsurance"
