Your Role

• Product Lifecycle Catalogue (PLC) - PLC is the central inventory of Hardware and Software technologies that supports the bank's ITAM policies and processes.
• Outcomes:
• Improve end to end data quality across the tables that underpin and support PLC
• Create integrity between the PLC and CMDB
• Reduce TOIL in the operation, by introducing automation
• Develop insights and reports to drive quality improvements on Product lifecycle management across the firm
• Purpose of the role
• To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources.

Accountabilities

• Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
• Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
• Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
• Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
• Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.

Skills needed

• Data - essential - all aspects including principles, relationships, integrity, lineage, quality assessment. The data is currently in the ServiceNow SAM Pro module Events and data in motion
• ServiceNow - good knowledge of the platform would be ideal but not essential
• Automation - automation of manual processes
• Technologies for the work hasn't been explicitly chosen, but is likely to include: AWS, Java, Kafka, Python, APIs (REST), incl PostgreSQL
