Location: London/Northampton
Role Overview
The role involves documenting AS‑IS processes and designing end‑to‑end solutions for Term Deposit products across multiple regions. It requires creating detailed business and technical documentation while assessing system impacts and supporting multi‑country process rationalisation. The position also demands strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to lead workshops for current‑ and future‑state architecture.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities
- Process Documentation:
Accountable for documenting the AS‑IS processes for Term Deposits product variants across onboarding and servicing journeys for the UK, Europe, and US markets. - Solution Components Identification:
Identify and document various solution components for both client and employee journeys, including integration components and supporting systems. - Detailed Documentation:
Create comprehensive documentation using tools such as Confluence and JIRA, following established solution design patterns. This includes producing visual artefacts such as:- Logical Architecture diagrams
- Sequence Diagrams
- Data Flow Diagrams
- Business Design Creation:
Develop end‑to‑end Business Designs for banking products, specifically term deposits. Ability to perform impact assessments for system/process changes. - Multi‑Country Programme Experience:
Contribute to multi-country process and application rationalisation programmes, ensuring alignment across regions. - Peer Review & Governance:
Conduct peer reviews of documentation with internal teams, client stakeholders, and SMEs. Present documents in governance forums, gather feedback, and incorporate required changes. - Domain Expertise:
Strong understanding of financial services and banking functions related to deposits products—especially corporate deposits. - Stakeholder Communication:
Conduct walkthroughs of solution documentation with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. - Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with, support, and enable team members to ensure delivery quality and adherence to timelines. - Workshop Leadership:
Lead workshops to understand current-state architecture, gather requirements, and identify application candidates for future-state architecture.
