Consultant/ Senior Consultant- Tech PM - ERP / SAP

YOUR ROLE

The ERP Tech PM- Consultant/Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting(managing) delivery of ERP projects (preferably SAP) ensuring technical integrity, governance compliance, and alignment with client objectives. This role bridges technical implementation and project management, requiring some knowledge of SAP and migration to S4HANA.
 
 
In this role you will play a key role in:
 
 
· Project Delivery & Governance
 
o Assist Engagement Managers with leading and shaping of programs - scope definition and timelines and budgets for engagements.
o Ensure adherence to Capgemini and client governance frameworks.
o Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance with security and audit standards.
 
· Technical Know-How
 
o Understanding current (as-is) and support the design of future (to-be) client value streams cutting across process blocks and technologies, helping clients to excel operationally,
o Being a reliable advisor who works with clients to develop innovative solutions to their most challenging business problems preferably leveraging the SAP S/4HANA technology ecosystem.
o Depending on your background and interest, demonstrating technical or one of functional areas (finance, sales, production, logistics, procurement, etc.) is preferred and the related SAP S/4HANA solutions, helping clients optimize their business processes.
 
 
· Stakeholder Management
 
o Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
o Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and solution design.
 
 
· Quality Assurance
 
 
o Drive UAT, performance testing, and defect resolution.
o Support with deployment and release management as deemed necessary
o Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer for operational readiness.

· Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
· Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
· Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR ROLE

Technical Expertise:
 
· 6+ years’ experience, with proven ability to manage client projects and stakeholders.
· Experience of Agile and Waterfall delivery models in delivering ERP projects (preferably in SAP)
· Familiar with the Project Management reporting tools
· Strong analytical and communication skills; able to bridge business and technology.
· Experience with business analysis, process management, analytics, AI concepts, and ideally exposure to enterprise transformation/automation or agentic AI;
· Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to build networks within the team and with clients;
 
 
Optional: 
 
 
· Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
· Good to have Scrum Master, Project management, Business Analysis certifications with a SAP focus
· Experience of proposition building and delivery.
· Business development – Utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network.
