Compliance Analyst - SOX Specialism

About the role you are considering

As a Compliance Analyst (SOX Specialist) and part of our Compliance services team within a key client, you’ll work as a trusted authority, delivering technical compliance and GRC capability to our client

 

The Cyber Delivery Team sits within a wider Managed Services function, residing in the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) UK business line. You will have the opportunity to interact with our global team of security experts, from Architects to Engineers, Analysts to Compliance Managers. Outreach in CIS doesn’t just stop at security, as we actively encourage our staff to engage with other areas of the business and local communities.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. 

Your Role

  • Must have experience in Security Risk, Compliance and Data privacy
  • Strong experience of SOX Audit standards and ISO 27001:2013 / Governance exposure - SOX standard and regulatory requirements and be able to drive forward SOX compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and implement effective controls.
  • Monitor and report on compliance status and audit findings.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on SOX best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in risk assessment and process improvements

Your skills and experience

•    Play a role in the delivery of GRC SOX services and reporting, customer facing
•    Support customer to deliver SOX Governance and attend calls with team
•    Working closely with internal and customer’s team to develop SOX services and reporting deliverables and improvements
•    As part of GRC team, assist with changes to the ISMS proposed by customer and provide appropriate documented updates to the processes, roles and responsibilities
•    Ability to adhere to strict quality and change management process
•    Certification in more than one of (SOX, ISO 27001:2022 LA/LI, GDPR, PCI DSS) or equivalent experience, with particular focus on SOX

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. 

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
