The Partner Development Executive (PDE) is responsible for driving revenue growth and pipeline acceleration through CIS specific technology partners and reseller motions. The role sits at the intersection of partner strategy, demand generation, deal origination, and commercial execution, working closely with sales, presales, industry teams and marketing.
The PDE owns the partner-led growth motion for CIS - from identifying and shaping opportunities with partner field teams, through to deal execution, governance, and consumption realisation (where appropriate). This role blends commercial leadership, partner relationship management, and sales rigour to ensure partner engagement translates into measurable sales performance and partner expansion for Capgemini.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
Partner-Led Growth & Demand Generation
- Drive new CIS pipeline and bookings through proactive engagement with named CIS technology partners
- Originate and co-develop opportunities alongside partner field sales and Capgemini presales/sales teams, aligning partner propositions to client priorities.
- Lead partner related demand generation activities including joint campaigns, events, and account-level GTM initiatives in collaboration with CIS Marketing and Market Unit teams.
- Act as a visible CIS advocate within partner ecosystems, ensuring Capgemini CIS capabilities are positioned early and credibly in partner-led pursuits.
Deal Origination, Shaping & Lifecycle Ownership
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of partner-led CIS opportunities, from qualification and deal shaping through to close and post deal execution alignment.
- Ensure robust deal qualification, clear value articulation, and effective orchestration across CIS sales, delivery, and partner stakeholders.
- Support strategic deal generation by contributing partner insight, market intelligence, and solution alignment into major CIS pursuits.
- Maintain strong pipeline hygiene, including accurate partner forecasting and CRM discipline.
Partner Relationship & Commercial Management
- Build and sustain trusted, senior relationships with partner sales, alliance, and GTM leaders relevant to CIS.
- Work closely with Strategic Partner Managers to align on joint priorities, account plans, and investment focus - while remaining execution oriented and deal driven.
- Leverage partner funding programs (e.g., investment programmes, incentives, rebates) to support CIS demand generation and deal acceleration.
- Ensure accurate deal registration, incentive tracking, and compliance with partner governance and contractual requirements.
Collaboration & Capability Building
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Industry teams, Marketing, Delivery, and Centre of Excellence leads to ensure partner propositions are integrated into CIS offerings.
- Contribute to joint asset development, enablement, and training to strengthen CIS partner readiness and differentiation.
- Support longer-term CIS partner strategy by feeding execution insights, market signals, and performance data into leadership forum

Your skills and experience
- Proven experience in partner-led sales, business development within IT services, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity environments.
- Track record of originating and closing complex, multi stakeholder deals with technology partners.
- Experience working with strategic technology vendors in a sales or GTM capacity.
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, margin, and deal governance.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills across partners and internal teams.
- Strong deal shaping, negotiation, and commercial judgment.
- Highly organized, execution focused, and comfortable operating in a matrixed environment.
- Growth oriented, proactive, and outcome driven.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to governance and execution detail.
- Comfortable operating at pace across strategy, sales, and operations.
- Collaborative leader who brings clarity, momentum, and accountability.
