Job Title:  DLT Architect / Blockchain Architect

 

About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking an experienced Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in blockchain solutions within regulated environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience across multiple DLT platforms, smart contract development, and cloud-native engineering, with a strong foundation in security and digital asset architectures.

 

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

 

Your Role:

  • Design and deliver blockchain-based solutions for regulated industries such as banking, Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs), and fintech.
  • Architect and implement distributed ledger solutions using both public and private blockchain frameworks.
  • Lead end-to-end smart contract development, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop and integrate tokenization frameworks, including fungible, non-fungible (NFT), and hybrid digital assets.
  • Design and implement secure digital asset custody and wallet architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and compliant DLT-based applications.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory requirements.

 

Your Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in software technology with significant exposure to blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions, along with a proven track record of building blockchain applications in regulated environments such as banks, FMIs, and fintechs
  • Strong knowledge of both public and private DLT ecosystems with hands-on experience in Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, and Corda, and familiarity with relevant blockchain standards and protocols
  • Proficiency in Solidity with demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts
  • Expertise in digital asset and custody architecture including custody solutions, wallet architectures, Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and wallet policy engines
  • Strong understanding of tokenization including fungible tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and hybrid assets, along with experience in stablecoin design and integration
  • Proficiency in cloud-native engineering across Azure, AWS, and GCP with experience in containers, Kubernetes, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Strong foundation in security and privacy including key management, cryptographic principles, secure enclaves, HSM concepts, data protection patterns, selective disclosure techniques, and zero-knowledge (ZK) concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in complex, regulated environments, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience working in cross-functional and global teams
