About the job you're considering

In this role you will drive Cloud Infrastructure Services sales into client account(s) within the UK Insurance sector. You will engage senior decision makers, navigate complex buying cycles, and bring together the best of our technology, delivery, and industry expertise to secure wins and long-term client partnerships. You will own a sales target linked to your core objective to grow the pipeline and close bookings within your assigned account(s). You will develop and implement account growth strategies as well as contribute to the overall sector strategy, in line with group initiatives.

 

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

You will lead pipeline growth and acquisition of new business from targeted current and new client account(s) within Cloud Infrastructure Services. 

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within current insurance accounts and or new accounts, contributing to the team’s overall growth goals.
  • Guide opportunities through the full sales lifecycle—from initial qualification to successful closure—ensuring a smooth and collaborative process.
  • Take ownership of your part in the sales process, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and plans, while aligning with broader sector and organizational goals.
  • Work toward sales targets that contribute to shared team success, with collaboration from peers and leadership. 
  • Collaborate with delivery teams (e.g., Delivery Executive, Service Delivery Manager, Portfolio Lead) to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
  • Engage with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and fostering open communication.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience of new business sales, delivering business growth within the Insurance sector and have a good grasp of competition in the market 
  • Background in selling cloud infrastructure solutions and services, with a focus on addressing client needs and delivering value.
  • Collaborative team member who builds trust across functions and levels in a matrix environment, fostering strong relationships and shared success.
  • Skilled at articulating client challenges and translating them into effective, outcome-driven solutions.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience with pricing strategies, contract development, and negotiation.
  • Comfortable navigating internal processes and governance structures to move opportunities forward efficiently.
  • Brings a consultative sales approach, using storytelling, insightful questioning, and the ability to inspire and support others.

Your security clearance
