We are seeking a top-performing Sales Executive to pursue new Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) opportunities in the Banking & Capital Markets clients within the Capgemini Financial Services Strategic Business Unit (FS SBU). The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant industry experience and demonstrate strong selling attributes & techniques.
This role is responsible for creating strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close a range of new business/logo opportunities for the Cloud Infrastructure Services business line. The task includes infiltrating and influencing decision makers at the highest levels within the account. It will leverage these relationships to introduce the Capgemini Cloud Infrastructure capabilities and create & pursue selling opportunities.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
- You will be focused on new business acquisition and driving growth into both new name logos and existing clients in the Banking & Capital Markets industries and will have the ability to both create and drive opportunities to closure (including cold calling where necessary).
- You will be familiar with the various sources of demand – how to identify them, nurture them and be responsible for building an active pipeline of prospective deals.
- You will develop a deep understanding of Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services offerings and value proposition to define a compelling proposition and vision for each sales opportunity.
- You will Build and nurture relationships with the Clients in the Banking & Capital Markets Market Units, lead the sales process by working closely with various stakeholders to win business.
- You’ll qualify the opportunities and drive the deals to successful contracting

Your skills and experience
- You have experience in selling Cloud Infrastructure Services into the Banking & Capital Markets clients and understand the market and technology trends, behaviours and high business requirements of such clients.
- With a strong background in Cloud Infrastructure Services in the Financial Services sector, you will be expert in demand generation activities and in devising strategies to promote Capgemini with tangible business results.
- You will have clear and unambiguous accountability for improving Capgemini’s credibility within target clients in the market.
- You will both frame and drive business opportunities, leveraging the Capgemini offerings. This will also involve the shaping and framing of propositions to meet client requirements.
- You will be a true hunter with a broad network within the Financial Services sector with a proven track record of sourcing leads, selling technology solutions, developing new logos and be a self-starter and have a solid work experience in the Financial Services sector.
