Role: Business Analyst
We’re looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Business Analyst to support a major programme. As part of our client-side Business Analysis practice, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to bridge the gap between current and future business states. You’ll drive change, build consensus, and deliver actionable insights that shape strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and support solution design for projects or workstreams.
- Provide innovative recommendations to support effective delivery of business needs.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver agreed roadmaps and align delivery timelines.
- Ensure adherence to governance processes and alignment with wider business strategy.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and fulfill their needs throughout the change lifecycle.
- Communicate project requirements, changes, and testing outcomes clearly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with users, clients, developers, and management.
- Apply sound judgment to assess situations and recommend actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate options and determine project viability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both management and development teams.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements, the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal policies and standards.
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from various sources and present actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and influencing.
- Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of lifecycle management and cloud-based applications.
- Familiarity with data transfer mechanisms and APIs.
Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of financial regulations and interest in banking.
- Experience with payment technologies and the payments industry.
