We are looking for experienced Strategy and AI leaders with strong commercial acumen, individuals who understand AI technologies and can translate them into enterprise-wide transformation. You will lead engagements from strategy through to execution, enabling the shift toward AI-enabled enterprises whilst contributing to the growth of our AI Strategy practice.
YOUR ROLE
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and delivery, perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems. From Agentic AI in risk governance, to AI sovereignty in enterprise architecture, to enabling the AI-empowered workforce of tomorrow, you’ll be working at the cutting edge of what’s next.
WE REDEFINE AI ASSURANCE - You will design, implement, and continuously enhance AI assurance frameworks that address AI-specific risks across the lifecycle, including fairness, safety, transparency, explainability, privacy, security, robustness, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
WE PINPOINT AI RISK – You will lead and support AI risk, impact, and control assessments, ensuring AI systems are evaluated for business, operational, ethical, legal, regulatory, and societal risks, particularly in high-risk or regulated environments.
WE EMBED AI RISK MANAGEMENT- You will integrate AI risk management and assurance activities throughout the end-to-end AI lifecycle (1st line of assurance), from use case selection and design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, change management, and retirement.
WE BUILD TRUSTED AI – You will work closely with product, engineering, data science, security, privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure AI solutions are designed, developed, and operated in accordance with organisational risk appetite and regulatory expectations, incorporating appropriate controls throughout the AI lifecycle.
WE ENSURE AI PERFORMANCE - You will define requirements for ongoing monitoring, performance validation, drift detection, incident management, and post-deployment assurance activities to ensure AI systems remain effective, safe, and compliant over time.

Key Skills
AI Risk Management & Assurance - Demonstrable experience assessing, managing and assuring risks associated with AI systems, including model performance, transparency, explainability, accountability, privacy, security and regulatory compliance
AI Governance & Lifecycle Management - Experience embedding governance, risk management and assurance activities across the end-to-end AI lifecycle, from use case selection and design through deployment, monitoring, change management and retirement
Risk & Control Assessments - Proven ability to conduct AI risk assessments, impact assessments, control evaluations and assurance reviews, particularly within regulated or high-risk environments
Stakeholder Management & Communication - Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into practical, risk-based recommendations and communicate effectively with technical, operational and executive stakeholders
AI Monitoring & Observability - Strong knowledge of AI monitoring, observability, performance validation, drift detection, incident management and post-deployment assurance practices, including relevant tooling and best practice
Desirable Experience
Working across diverse industries, including public sector (e.g. Central Government and Defence) and private industries such (e.g. Manufacturing, Automotive, Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail and Financial Services)
Influencing cross-functional teams and balancing innovation objectives with risk management requirements
Assessing and managing risks associated with AI systems, including model development and performance, data, transparency, explain-ability, accountability, privacy, security, and regulatory risks
Designing, implementing, and operating first-line risk management, conducting AI risk assessments, impact assessments, control evaluations, or assurance reviews during development, deployment and monitoring of AI solutions
Supporting AI initiatives within highly regulated industries or complex risk environments where governance and compliance requirements are critical
Personal Attributes
A passionate advocate for the safe, responsible, and scalable adoption of AI, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks throughout the AI lifecycle. Pragmatic and balanced in evaluating opportunities and challenges, with strong communication skills that enable effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning, while remaining calm and effective in complex or high-pressure environments.
