The Data & AI Innovation team brings together our AI Product Innovation and Data Science Consulting capabilities. We help organisations turn ambitious AI ideas into production-ready products and measurable business outcomes, bringing together expertise across AI engineering, data science, product management and responsible AI.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for AI and Data Science professionals from Consultant to Senior Manager to help organisations unlock value from AI, machine learning, data science and intelligent automation.
As a leading Data and AI Professional, depending on your experience and area of expertise, your focus may range from hands-on technical delivery and solution development through to leading client engagements, shaping AI strategy, developing teams and contributing to account and capability growth.
You do not need to cover every area of AI. We value strong foundations, relevant depth and the ability to learn as technology and client needs evolve.
In this role you will play a key role in:
•    Designing, building and deploying machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI solutions, turning business challenges into practical prototypes, products and scalable enterprise capabilities.
•    Developing applications and pipelines that connect AI models, enterprise data, APIs, tools and existing technology platforms, applying appropriate software engineering, MLOps, LLMOps and AI governance practices.
•    Working with clients and multidisciplinary teams to understand business objectives, shape solutions and deliver measurable outcomes through AI and data-driven transformation.
•    Depending on your grade and experience, leading workstreams, client engagements or multidisciplinary teams, and helping clients shape AI strategies, operating models and transformation roadmaps.
•    Contributing to client account growth and the development of propositions, colleagues and Capgemini Invent's AI capability.

•    Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
•    Practice Development – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
•    Learning & development – Training, certifications and professional development opportunities that support your career and the skills needed within the company.

YOUR PROFILE

•You bring strong problem-solving skills and can turn ambiguous requirements into practical actions, communicate technical ideas clearly and work constructively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
•You have experience, or for more junior candidates the potential, to deliver technical work within a team environment, balancing experimentation, quality, risk and business value. 
•You have experience or potential in one or more areas including Data Science, Applied AI, Generative AI, AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Agentic AI, MLOps/LLMOps, AI Architecture or Data & AI Consulting. You are not expected to have expertise across every area, and the breadth and depth expected will depend on the grade.
•You build positive working relationships, communicate with credibility and connect technical decisions to business outcomes. At more senior grades, you bring strong commercial awareness, develop trusted client relationships, coach colleagues and contribute to propositions and account growth.
