Test Manager / Technical Project Manager

YOUR ROLE

As a Test Manager / Technical Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate testing activities within Telecom Core Network projects, with a particular focus on IMS (Fixed & Mobile) environments. You will be responsible for defining and driving the test strategy, ensuring end-to-end test execution, managing stakeholders, and guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing project deliverables to define the most appropriate testing approach.
  • Creating, managing, and executing the overall Test Strategy, coordinating internal teams and third-party partners.
  • Ensuring requirements traceability through Test Management tools such as ALM and JIRA.
  • Providing regular test planning and execution status reports to stakeholders.
  • Managing Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Test Exit Reviews (TER), ensuring quality gates are met.
  • Monitoring and controlling test schedules, risks, and dependencies.
  • Managing defect lifecycles, tracking remediation activities, and driving issue resolution.
  • Supporting risk-based testing approaches and producing rectification plans when required.
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Technical Project Manager within Telecom Core Network projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) in Fixed and/or Mobile environments.
  • Experience working within Mobile Telecom ecosystems, preferably with Nokia platforms.
  • Solid understanding of test management methodologies, test planning, and risk-based testing approaches.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools, including ALM and JIRA.Knowledge of testing tools such as automation frameworks, traffic generators, debugging tools, stubs, and simulators.
  • Familiarity with different delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.
  • Industry-recognized testing certification such as ISTQB or ISEB is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
