YOR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Telecom Test Automation Engineer to support the validation, testing, and quality assurance of telecom applications and network management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong software development, automation, database, API, and telecom network knowledge, with the ability to design and execute complex test scenarios in multi-vendor environments.

The role involves developing automated test frameworks, validating software releases, troubleshooting defects, supporting system integrations, and ensuring high-quality delivery of telecom products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Design & Execution
  • Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and system-level test cases.
  • Develop test plans, test strategies, and test execution documentation.
  • Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and customer validation activities.
  • Produce detailed test reports and quality metrics.
• Test Automation
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Develop reusable automation components to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
  • Continuously improve test automation processes and tools.
• Application & API Testing
  • Perform end-to-end testing of telecom applications and network management systems.
  • Validate REST APIs, SOAP services, and JMS-based integrations.
  • Execute interface, integration, and interoperability testing.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot API and middleware-related issues.
• Database Validation
  • Perform database validation and data integrity testing.
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries for testing and troubleshooting.
  • Validate database transactions, performance, and application interactions.
  • Support root cause analysis using database and application logs.
• System Troubleshooting & Defect Management
  • Analyze application logs, traces, and system behavior to identify defects.
  • Reproduce, document, and track software defects.
  • Work closely with development teams to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Support defect triage and root cause analysis activities.
• Telecom Domain Testing
  • Validate telecom network management and service assurance functionalities.
  • Support testing activities related to:
    • LTE Core Networks
    • IP/MPLS Networks
    • Network Management Systems
    • OSS platforms
  • Verify compliance with telecom protocols and operational workflows.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to testing best practices, methodologies, and process improvements.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and technical reviews.
  • Support automation and quality initiatives across projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation testing, or telecom system validation.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Experience in telecom applications, OSS platforms, or network management systems.
• Proven track record in defect analysis, automation, and integration testing.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Customer-focused and quality-driven mindset.
