Systems Administrator - Application Platforms (JBoss)

YOUR ROLE

Highly experienced professional in the administration, configuration, and optimization of application platforms based on Red Hat JBoss / WildFly, with a strong focus on availability, performance, and security of critical systems. Possesses solid expertise in distributed architectures, middleware, and enterprise application integration.

Responsibilities

  • Administration and management of JBoss EAP / WildFly application servers
  • Installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of JBoss environments
  • Performance monitoring and tuning of Java EE applications
  • Deployment management (EAR, WAR, JAR) and application troubleshooting
  • Integration with external systems (databases, LDAP/AD, APIs, legacy systems)
  • Support for development and operations teams (DevOps collaboration)
  • Task automation using scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Incident analysis and resolution in critical environments

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in middleware or application server administration
  • Strong experience administering and supporting JBoss EAP and/or WildFly application servers in enterprise environments
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and server management best practices
  • Good understanding of database integration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and connectivity configuration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented mindset and continuous improvement focus
