YOUR ROLE

Joining Capgemini Engineering as a Senior .NET Developer / Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in the development and technical delivery of web applications and digital solutions for our clients. Working in a hands-on capacity, you will bring your engineering expertise to bear on complex technical challenges, contributing to high-quality, well-structured, and scalable software.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services using .NET / ASP.NET and C#, ensuring clean code architecture, performance, and reliability
• Building and integrating RESTful Web Services and APIs across distributed systems, supporting seamless communication between application components
• Developing engaging front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, contributing to both the visual and functional quality of web solutions
• Managing and optimising MS SQL Server databases, including query writing, performance tuning, and data integrity across solutions
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to analyse technical problems, propose solutions, and deliver results with a strong focus on quality and responsiveness

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a driven and technically strong Senior Developer with a proven hands-on background, who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong proficiency in .NET / ASP.NET, C#, and the .NET Framework
• Solid experience with Web Services and RESTful API development, combined with strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Proven ability to work with MS SQL Server, including database design, query optimisation, and data management in production environments
• A proactive and quality-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative and drive results
• Experience with React and/or React Native and knowledge of microservices architecture are a plus
